| Do you have a Canon AF Camera (Canon
EOS 1D, 1D Mark II, 1Ds, 20D, 10D, 300D, 350D, 1V, 50
etc.) and manual focus lenses from Contax/Yashica(*),
Carl Zeiss Jena (M42), Leica R, Olympus OM, Nikkor F,
Pentax K etc? Would you like to get an autofocus
confirmation hint from a Canon AF system? If so - you
need this chip. (*) - you should probably remove an apperture pin from Contax lens to install a chip, or mount a lens onto an adapter and afterwards mount a chip. To release a lens than you'll need to remove a chip first. | |
| This chip is an emulator of Canon AF lens (Canon 24-70/2.8L was a prototype for a protocol of conversation between a lens and a camera). You need just to attach (with a glue) this chip to your adapter. When you have this chip attached to your adapter you camera will make a beep and illuminate an AF point in a viewfinder when your object is in focus, as it is with a usual Canon AF lens in MF mode. This chip now returns an aperture 1.4 |
